Frequent download failures for KDE hosted sources (Error in the HTTP2 framing layer)

Hi everyone,

First of all, thanks for all the good work you’re doing with Flathub!

We are frequently seeing HTTP2 errors leading to download failures when downloading source archives from KDE mirrors. See for example in https://flathub.org/builds/#/builders/32/builds/74358:

Failed to download sources: module pimcommon: Error in the HTTP2 framing layer

KDE does not host the sources directly but relies on geo-located mirrors. I’ve reached out to KDE Infra folks but without knowing which mirror the Flathub build nodes are being redirected to, it’s hard to figure it out.

Could a Flathub admin try running on a build node a curl request for a KDE hosted source tarball such as the one above to see which mirror the build node gets redirected to?

Thanks!

No it’s not the same problem.

The OP has a problem with downloading source from KDE when building.

Yours is when downloading / installing a Flatpak.
