I am getting appstream-failed-validation error despite it passing validation

I am preparing an app for flathub submission and here is my metainfo file screen-orientation-manager/io.github.archisman_panigrahi.screen-orientation-manager.metainfo.xml at screen-orientation-manager · archisman-panigrahi/screen-orientation-manager · GitHub

When I try to validate manually, my metainfo file passes validation.

$ flatpak run --command=flatpak-builder-lint org.flatpak.Builder appstream io.github.archisman_panigrahi.screen-orientation-manager.metainfo.xml
✔ Validation was successful.

However, after building, when I run flatpak run --command=flatpak-builder-lint org.flatpak.Builder repo repo, it shows

How to debug this?

It seems that the source of the error was the following: I made changes to the metainfo in my computer to fix the issue, but did not push them, and flatpak builder was building from the remote git repo where the issue was not patched.
