I just tried to upgrade Jami on my desktop i haven’t used for a while, and it said “This application is no longer maintained because of personal reasons.” I was suspicious as i follow the Jami project pretty closely, and didn’t hear they are closing up shop, and i was right: Jami is alive and well. Is it possible to change this message on Flathub’s side somehow?
You should ask the maintainer why they added the EOL message GitHub · Where software is built.
But it doesn’t mean Jami, the project, stopped development. The Flathub package is maintained by the community and it may very well mean that the Flathub maintainer of Jami doesn’t have enough time etc. to keep maintaining it and hence added the message.
