Author Verification Docs Lack Important Info

I noticed that the Flathub verification for app authors page does not mention manual verification. Is there a reason for it’s omission? I know there are people who are having problems with the other methods for one reason or another, for whom manual verification would be useful. Would it be possible to amend the page to include steps to become manually verified?

Manual verification is only used in exceptional cases if you have problems with the actual methods. It doesn’t make sense to document it.

In most cases if you have a wrong app id you have to resubmit, it won’t be manually verified.

Can we at least have that added to the documentation then? I’m sure you know how many people have incorrect URLs, but the Flathub verification for app authors page doesn’t list how to change an incorrect URL. I’ve just been hunting for old forum posts when helping people find out how to correct an incorrect domain. The documentation can be as simple as adding “Apps with incorrect URLs cannot be verified. If your app needs its URL corrected, open a pull request >insert link here<”

Ok sure. I can add a note there too, it’s kind of mentioned in the note in Requirements | Flathub Documentation
