Last time I checked, it needed admin rights - so it’s not flatpak-able and you might reconsider, if that’s what you want to use.

Thank you very much for you’re help. Had trouble flashing a new version of Mate onto a usb stick after formatting it, using Ubuntu Mate Start Up Disk Creator. Maybe I’ve not set the right things on the stick using Disks
