Build fails during "Check for AppStream xml"

I wanted to publish a new release after some months, replacing an older manual YAML manifest with a script-generated JSON one. I submitted my changes, but my builds fail at the “Check for AppStream xml” step, both for x86_64 and ARM, with this message:

stat: cannot statx 'builddir/*/share/app-info/xmls/com.enjoyingfoss.Parlera.xml.gz': No such file or directory

I have a com.enjoyingfoss.feeel.appdata.xml file as part of my new release, just as I had it as part of my old release.

Any idea of why I might be getting this error?

either you don’t install it, it has the wrong name or appstream compose fail.
