Can't open QQ on the Wayland environment

The QQ on Flathub can not open on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10 / Rocky Linux 10 / AlmaLinux 10 / Elementary OS 8 / OpenSUSE Leap 16 / Ubuntu 25.10

These systems are Wayland-only environments and QQ fails to launch there. It still works on older distributions with X11, but not on these newer releases.

File an issue with the flatpak package directly.

Valid suggestion, I have the same problem on Rocky Linux 10, and it looks like the maintainer doesn’t plan to fix it.

Here are some information about the maintainer’s decision.

Hello, the Flatpak version of QQ defaults to Wayland, which often causes problems. May I ask if it can be changed to X11?

Most desktop environments now default to Wayland.

OK, I see. Thank you.

You can switch it to X11 using Flatseal.

I monitored QQ’s system calls and feel that QQ doesn’t work well with Wayland.

@xujie Oh my god! It feels terrible.

I tried to run QQ on my Raspberry Pi, but it didn’t work. Can anyone fix it?

It still doesn’t work on computers with Apple Silicon and Qualcomm chips, and I’d guess pretty much any ARM device.
