I think it would be a good idea to add a place for ratings and comments to each app on Flathub.
It would help users to see what has worked for others and what hasn’t at a glance instead of having to research each app on their own so much, or downloading and finding it does something different than what the user had thought.
This would also help users decide if downloading an app is safe. If others find it does what it says and rate it well, it likely isn’t malware. But if it doesn’t do what it says or others had malware issues, it would likely be rated low.

Flatpak apps use OARS ratings (OARS: Open Age Ratings Service).
If you notice that any app is incorrectly marking OARS (Open Age Ratings Service) scores, please feel free to open an issue in the related repository.
Sorry, you mean on the Flathub page.
Yes, that would be great. GNOME Software already has such a feature, but it would be cool if Flathub had it on its own as well. That way, publishers could also respond to comments and directly help users.

Hi, I would like to join this discussion because it fits in quite well with my concern:
Flathub has become my go-to resource for searching and installing software. I also love the layout and usability of this website.
That’s why, even though I know that not all of the programs available are officially curated and verified, I believed that they were at least checked and “safe” (similar to the Microsoft store). Admittedly, that was perhaps a little naive of me.
I stumbled across a program, which I installed and was about to purchase the full version of. But then I decided it was a little too “sketchy.” I did some research and found that the software manufacturer has some disastrous reviews on Trustpilot and Reddit.
My suggestion would be to introduce user reviews and/or the option to report dubious programs and have them removed if necessary.
I think that now that Linux is increasingly being seen as a real alternative to Windows and MacOS in the public interest, the number of such “black sheep” will increase.

What about like/dislike or upvote/downvote buttons?
From Bazaar (Favorite Count), based on Flathub data.
From GNOME Software (Star Count), based on their review system.
