Firefox on flathub is not latest version as its flatpak repo is hidden

I tried to update Firefox on flathub to its latest version, 146.0.1.
However, flatpak CLI said that 146.0 is its latest version.

When I investigate why this issue is happened, I found that https://github.com/flathub/org.mozilla.firefox is hidden.

I think that GitHub hid the repo because maybe some defective GitHub users reported the repo.

The repo is not hidden it does not exist. Firefox is one of the few apps that gets published directly by the devs, and is not built on Flathub’s infrastructure.

Then, What is this?

That’s likely an bug in the website generation.

Normally, this should link to a page from Mozilla. If you look the Flathub page up in the Wayback Machine with an save from 2023, you can see it links to Mozilla’s Mercurial page.

So this currently linking to GitHub is likely an website bug. Do also note that OBS, which is also build externally, also experiences some issues on the Flathub website currently.
