App has been updated. It’s appearing among the “Updated” category but the information displayed(version, screenshots, app description, icons, release notes) are for the previous version. Even a hard refresh doesn’t pull the latest information. Why is that?
My app, which was updated yesterday is also showing the previous version now. Just this morning it was showing the latest version.
Our caching is pretty aggressive, especially when using the popular frontend languages, so it might take some time before it’s regenerated.
You mean you cache up to the point where even a hard refresh doesn’t work? Anyway, could it be the reason why this checks are being failed again after requesting for it? The main reason I’ve updated the app is to get these checks to pass.
It’s not the caching - the backend hasn’t refreshed yet https://flathub.org/api/v2/appstream/io.github.josephmawa.TextCompare?locale=en
Will take a look, but kinda expect it to resolve itself
It’s fixed now, might need some time to invalidate frontend caches
