At the right site are total number of downloads of package by Linux distribution. What is nice to see is, is If I build deb/rpm it will effect only few distributions, but is I made sandbox like package (snap or flatpak) I can see they are installed on many Linux distributions. I would like to know what is Linux distribution by particular flatpak download.
Now after year and a half I see @razzeee link and this feature request is marked as Closed and I see some source code as merged. I have searched few of flatpaks, but can’t see this info on Flathub web site for individual flatpak. Did I miss something or this info is still not available on Flathub?
It was released as part of Flatpak 1.17.0 which is an unstable release. It needs to reach a stable Flatpak release (which is going to be 1.18.0) to get to distro repos, which is how most users consume Flatpak. 1.18.0 will be out in a couple of years, although there is no timeline.
Once that happens, we also need to add some code to start parsing the new data.
