Flatpak not installing support files

Linux Mint 20.1

I have a problem where flatpak will install the basic app, but fails to fully install all of the support files needed by the app. According to the bug reporting site, the flatpak for Ubuntu (which Linux Mint is derived from) has a bug which prevents the installing of the support files. And that bug is present in both the GUI and CLI versions.

Any suggestions on how to get the flatpak to properly install everything needed?

What is the name of the app?

When launched, the apps complained about gl libraries. Did not make any difference which app was installed.
As an update to this thread, I retried installing an app. The app now works as intended by the author. My only conclusion is that one of the support libraries may have been corrupted causing the issue.
