Pixelitor is a java based image editor. It is lousier then gimp in most respects but it has tons of unique filters “like color wheels” and the ability to make make graphic text. With a clipboard manager or by saving ORA (open raster files) it can share a workflow with gimp or krita. I really like how it can use it’s native image format to save text templates for easy graphic text creation.
