Do you envision the possibility of adding Chromium as well?

There are plans but no ETA.

I’ve given it CUPS access using Flatseal but it still doesn’t appear to see printers.

Side question: who’s building the binary? Only Google has the right to distribute stuff with Google Chrome branding, right?

Update on the printing issue: Chrome not seeing printers was a CUPS issue, so that’s squared away. But even if it sees printers, no printing command actually runs, nothing gets added to the print queue. In addition, system dialog doesn’t list any printer at all.

Downloaded files can not be opened via the bottom download bar. If I click on it just nothing happens. This is on Fedora 32 Silverblue. Any advice?

Another thing I am struggling with is that the Google association/login does not survive across re-boots (e.g. I need to re-login and double authenticate over and over again). How exactly is this supposed to work?

Otherwise, I am using it now since half a month as daily driver and it works great. Thanks!

First ia there is chromium in the flathub
Second, what is the difference between Google chrome flathub beta and Google chrome endless os?

Different build, you can check the source

It appears Chromium has now graduated to Flathub stable. However, UngoogledChromium and Chrome are still only on beta.

EDIT 2020-12-08:
UngoogledChromium is now on Flathub stable!

Now chrome is missing

Microsoft Edge is now on Flathub-beta as well. Chrome still hasn’t moved up to stable.

I checked the link from github and it is dead. what happened?

Which link?
Chrome: https://github.com/flathub/com.google.Chrome

The flathub (https://flathub.org/apps/details/com.google.Chrome). it is broken. isn’t?

I see so the Google Chrome that available for flatpak right now is beta channel only. Is that so?

Not really, we just don’t expose the beta branch on the UI yet. It needs work to happen on the backend/frontend of the website to handle this properly.

The links are automatically added to each app merged on Flathub. Sometimes they don’t work “yet” (see the reason above)

I see and I hope this Google chrome for flatpak also available to beta and dev channel as well.
