I’m not really sure what is causing this but below are 2 screenshots. The first is Tagger running on Wayland, the second is the same app on xWayland.
For some reason (and its not just this app affected) the GTK app does not appear correctly when running natively on wayland.

DE: Plasma 5.27.10
WM: kwin
Theme: [Plasma], Adwaita-dark [GTK2/3]
Icons: [Plasma], breeze-dark [GTK2/3]
CPU: 12th Gen Intel i7-12700H (20) @ 4.600GHz
GPU: Intel Alder Lake-P GT2 [Iris Xe Graphics]
GPU: NVIDIA Geforce RTX 3070 Ti Laptop GPU
Its worth noting that the only change i made here was a flatpak override to disable wayland.
