I’m not sure is this would be better characterized as a request - but I’m starting with the more generic question of what is the best way to request an update to an app that was made a flatpak some years ago, but has never been updated, and is a version no longer supported by upstream
In specific, the application is KMyMoney, a KDE application for personal finance management (KMyMoney flatpak request was the original request.)

It’s on the latest release 5.1.3. If you are going by version displayed in the software app or Flathub then the version metadata is outdated flatpak for kmymoney 5.1.3 comes as version 5.1.0 · Issue #44 · flathub/org.kde.kmymoney · GitHub
I was going to say that commit is two years old, but i see the flat package was made longer ago than that. Hopefully it won’t take long to package 5.2, expected for release within the next week or two.
5.2 isn’t out yet according to download.kde.org.
