I have very problems with GMAT (General Mission Analysis Tool)

Project information: The General Mission Analysis Tool (GMAT) is the world’s only enterprise, multi-mission, open source software system for space mission design, optimization, and navigation… I have a lot of problems installing GMAT (NASA’s General Mission Analysis Tool)

I’m an engineering student who uses this tool to simulate satellite orbits. I use Arch Linux and I’ve been using the program for a while, but it’s becoming increasingly difficult to install it, making it almost impossible to install from the AUR. Which makes me wonder, why isn’t there a version of GMAT in Gnome Software? This would make the installation easier and make it compatible with various Linux distros. I don’t know how to do this job so I don’t know what it means to make this request, but I think it would be very relevant to have this software directly from flathub.

Apparently this app requires Matlab with a working license. Not sure if this allows for packaging in Flathub.

Although it seems that some apps support Matlab by using the matio library, so maybe you can explore that option.
