In this post I tried to add a link to https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/libsecret/-/issues/49 and was presented with the following warning:
It seems reproducible for anything at that domain. Looking at the network traffic, the box seems to be expanded on the Discourse server, not in the client browser. Every other domain I’ve tried seems to work fine, though of course I have not tried every known domain. Weird.
Able to reproduce on https://discourse.flathub.org, and see the links embedding as expected on other Discourse instances.
Looking on the Discourse support site, I can’t find a solid reason it would be happening, though some debugging at Some sites are blocked from oneboxing - feature - Discourse Meta proposed the idea the host domain is blocking the curl request… maybe gitlab.gnome.org is getting pinged too often from these forums?
