I think this would be a useful app to have on Flathub (I can use it myself). I’ve linked a relevant issue on the Git repo where someone attempted it and the upstream developer gives a lot of insight to all that is needed for someone else to attempt it if it’s possible.
Yikes, they wouldn’t even need a gui to do this 
I know, when I saw that thread I was like huh? Anyway I’m glad you brought it up to them, now lets hope some activity returns as the issue was closed in 2021. The good thing is the repo is still maintained so as long as someone with the knowledge to package as a Flatpak sees it, it should be do-able.
