Can you make Flatpak to be a portable xz and it unpacks itself locally and checks the system say Linux from 2010 and it unpacks all needed to run in a local folder without any system writing. Older computers cannot build browsers and the flatpak is the only opportunity to connect to www after setting up a local one with a local browser e.g. Would be excellent.
