Pulseeffects by Wellington Wallace needs to update branch?

I get warnings in the terminal when updating flatpak that:

  • org.freedesktop.Platform branch 23.08
  • org.freedesktop.Platform.VAAPI.Intel branch 23.08
  • org.freedesktop.Platform.GL.default branch 23.08-extra
  • org.freedesktop.Platform.GL.default branch 23.08

are end-of-life and no longer receiving fixes and security updates. It’s the Pulseeffects flatpak developed by Wellington Wallace. Is there any news on whether this project is essentially shelved or will there be an eventual update for this great app?

With a verified application, you can usually ask the developers directly. However, it is possible that there will be no further updates:

Easy Effects is the successor to PulseEffects. Easy Effects only supports PipeWire’s audio server. PulseAudio users should instead use PulseEffects.

Hmm, that’s kind of unfortunate, as I’ve tried Easy Effects before and it didn’t have a lot of the same modules that PulseEffects had, which is why I decided to stay with PulseEffects. It’s been a while though maybe Easy Effects has improved since then. Thank you

EDIT: I spoke too soon, just tried the modern Easy Effects and it looks like most of the modules have been ported over, nice!
