It would be nice to have more filters, but keep it simple:
- Licence: Proprietary / Free
- Last update: maximum Years since last update
- Number of Downloads, ratings, Git(Hub|Lab) stars …
- Size: maybe useless, not a good example …
- Platform: Gnome / KDE / Electron JS / … (I know they are compatible, but some might prefer " native" apps or avoid Electron apps)
I am not saying that it should be all pushed upfront ! Some might be only accessible via keywords in the request like pdf platform:gnome LastUpdate:2
a help page would describe the operators.

Now, that we have a good amount of apps … I miss these features !
Specially the license filter.
It would be useful to be able to filter by the first letter [or number] of the application name.

Related to the topic: is it possible that when the Flathub repository is added a distinction can be made to avoid proprietary software? . Perhaps adding another element to the column apart from Name / Application ID / Version / Branch / Arch.
I imagine something like:
flatpak remote-add --if-not-exists flathub https://flathub.org/repo/flathub.flatpakrepo --avoid-license-proprietary
or something like that
Currently there is no repository for Libre only flatpaks. Many distributions attached to a stricter GNU line could benefit from it.
