Search on website showing no results

Hello,

I’m maintainer of DAMASK (https://damask-multiphysics.org) and have published GitHub - flathub/org.damask_multiphysics.DAMASK_grid and GitHub - flathub/org.damask_multiphysics.DAMASK_mesh.

I’m a little bit surprised that both apps don’t show up on the flathub.org. Search does not work either, I’ve tried “DAMASK”, “damask”, “mesh”, “grid”, and “multiphysics”

You need to add some screenshots to your metainfo file MetaInfo guidelines | Flathub Documentation.

Console applications are only added to the search index when they have both icon and screenshot.

Also I’d suggest to add some more keywords MetaInfo guidelines | Flathub Documentation as well as they will be used in search as well.

Would it make sense to add this to the documentation

This could be a new section in Requirements | Flathub Documentation, stating that Screenshots are mandatory for console applications or add it to MetaInfo guidelines | Flathub Documentation, which currently state that graphical applications need screenshots.

It’s not mandatory for console apps, it’s only required if they want to appear in search results.

I can add that.
