Hello, I have a Flatpak update issue and have been searching for a solution for over a week and find very little on it. I get the following when I run flatpak update:
stevesveryown@pop-os:~$ flatpak update Looking for updates… ** flatpak:ERROR:common/flatpak-variant-impl-private.h:486:var_metadata_entry_get_key: assertion failed: (base[end-1] == 0) Bail out! flatpak:ERROR:common/flatpak-variant-impl-private.h:486:var_metadata_entry_get_key: assertion failed: (base[end-1] == 0) Aborted (core dumped)
I have tried the following commands (not in this particular order):
flatpak repair --user flatpak repair --reinstall sudo mv /var/lib/flatpak /var/lib/flatpak.bak sudo flatpak repair --system flatpak remote-add --if-not-exists flathub https://flathub.org/repo/flathub.flatpakrepo rm -r ~/.cache/flatpak
I researched on the Pop redit but these commands did nothing. Suggestion? Thanks for any help given.
