Does anyone know if the flatpak version of VLC has support for Chomecast? I have a VLC package from my distro’s repo that lets me cast to chromecast but not able to get it working with the flatpak. Wondering if any additional packages need to be installed or if any permissions need to be setup in Flatseal?
What is not working? Have you tried changing the permission in Flatseal?
The reason it wasn’t working seems to be because it wasn’t built with chromium support enabled. This was recently patched and works for me now. Note: I’m not sure if the patched build has been pushed to flathub yet but I’ve just been using the one shared and discussed here:
